29 citata s Leadercasta 2011. – 29 mini lekcija o leadershipu

Kraj prošlog tjedna u Zagrebu su obilježili leadership eventi – gostovanje Alastaira Campbella (više u postu Lekcije Alastaira Campbella o strateškom leadershipu ) i live prijenos Leadercasta. Nažalost na eventima se nije okupila baš neka leadership crème de la crème Hrvatske. Ako je takvu u Hrvatskoj uopće moguće okupiti…

Leadercast  je konferencija koja, otkada ju je John Maxwell pokrenuo 2000. godine, okuplja najznačajnije svjetske teoretičare i praktičare leadershipa. Sam događaj odvija se u Atlanti, a zadnjih nekoliko godina prenosi se video linkom u cijelom svijetu na posebno organiziranim eventima. Ove godine konferenciju je live pratilo više od 85.000 ljudi. Što se eventa u Zagrebu tiče, tužno je što su se i panelisti i voditelj na okruglom stolu kojim je  program započeo dosta nespretno popikavali po leadership temama miješajući upravljanje i vođenje, managere, leadere i poduzetnike. To je tužno jer ti ljudi (a nije bitno da ih imenujem, nije problem samo u njima nego u svim tim “opinion makerima” za koje je tužno da su opinion makeri jer ako već utječu na stvaranje tuđih mišljenja i odluka, onda bi to trebali raditi odgovorno i kompetentno) vladaju samo mitologijom leadershipa, a ne teorijski utemeljenim i praktično svladanim znanjima. Pa evo – za njih i sve druge koji imaju želju kompetentnije vladati barem teorijom leadershipa – moj izbor citata nekih od leadership stručnjaka i role modela koji su predavali na ovogodišnjem Leadercastu:

John Maxwell jedan je od najvećih svjetskih leadership gurua, autor knjiga “The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership“, “Developing the Leader Within You“  i još više od 50 knjiga od kojih su brojne na top listi New York Timesa. Sve njegove knjige zajedno su prodane u više od 19 milijuna primjeraka.

Seth Godin je jedan od najpoznatijih marketinških stručnjaka današnjice, jedan od najpopularnijih blogera na svijetu  i autor brojnih knjiga. Njegova predzadnja knjiga  “Linchpin”  našla se na Amazonovoj listi 10 najprodavanijih istog dana kada je i objavljena.
